| The beginning of stage 2 track work has put the ballast hopper into service delivering to the end of the new line. Loco two took its turn to do the test running. | ||

The new track begins to extend out onto the embankment. The sudden flurry of activity around the SC&MR has created some excitement! |

Loco 2 rests quietly over the viaduct which allows water to follow under the small embankment which lifts the track up to the main, stage 2 embankment. | |

The extra track run now allows the engines to get up a full head of steam and really stretch their legs! | |
